Creative Soundscapes leaves 2001 with a bang having recently secured a
number of new licenses of Cato's music for the marketing campaigns of major
motion pictures. Universal Studios decided to market "Spy Game" in part by
using the hard hitting techno piece "Stalker". Others include "Showtime"
(Warner Bros.), "Texas Ranger" (Miramax), "The Phantom Menace" (LucasFilm
Ltd. - additional cues), "Out Cold" (Disney/ Buena Vista) and more...
As we're entering a new year that shows great promise for the continued and
expanding interest in the music of Cato and Creative Soundscapes, most major
studios have already inquired about music for several of their upcoming
features. In addition there are several exiting new original scoring
projects in the pipeline. Creative Soundscapes and Cato have also decided
to participate in a CD promo project by the Film Music Magazine where a 4
minute montage of our music will be included on a CD to be distributed
extensively throughout the industry, including at the South By Southwest
International Film Festival (March, 2002), the Los Angeles Independent Film
Festival (April, 2002) and the San Francisco International Film Festival
(April, 2002). Please
contact us if you want a copy of this montage.

Creative Soundscapes recently produced the music of composer Cato for the
cutting edge feature length documentary "Modern Tribalism". MT, which
deals with modern peoples newfound interest in ancient tribal rituals,
required Cato to deliver a highly eclectic blend of electronica flavored
world music, all of which is now available for (non-competitive) licensing
from Creative Soundscapes for your production.
The film has already screened to rave reviews at the Atlanta Int'l Film
Festival and at the San Francisco Digital Underground Festival where it won
the Audience Award for Best Documentary. Saturday September 22 MT will
